tracing the work of daad as a sponsor of academic exchange
between germany & the uk, and germany & ireland.
photographs of sea shorelines were used to illustrate
the distance between the uk and Œthe continent¹
(as the british like to call their european neighbours)
and demonstrate the gap which the daad works to bridge.
